Monday Adventures.

I went exploring on my own today in Paris and it was magical.

After stopping by the AIFS office, I decided I just wanted to wander. My only goal was to find a good French book, other than that the possibilities were endless:)

I stumbled upon a cute bookstore and found a short read for 2 euros. After that, any architecture that caught my eye, led me to my next stop. I found this cool area where two stairs arched so I decided to see what was up there. It led to this cute street of apartments (photo below). I love the look of the streets after it's rained; so fresh and revitalized. Especially in Cannes, the rain brings out the different colors in the cobblestone:)

Somewhere in Paris

I also found a beautiful (and inexpensive) cashmere scarf in a little boutique on the way. I ended by taking the metro back home to start my book with a warm cup of Earl Grey.

Often times, we try to hit all the tourists spots and see as much as we can in the little time we have. That's probably one of my favorite parts about living here; I can enjoy taking my time and really seeing Paris: it's corners and tucked away secrets:)

Still in love with Paris and not sure how my parents will get me to come back home in May!

Bisous,
Lyndi
